Nate Page, PhD, LP, Certified Group Psychotherapist
Hello! I’m Nate Page—a licensed psychologist and certified group psychotherapist dedicated to the belief that therapy is as essential for us therapists as it is for our clients. I’m passionate about helping fellow therapists uncover their true desires and work toward getting those needs met in healthy, fulfilling ways. Whether you’re navigating burnout, anxiety, or that pesky impostor syndrome, I’m here to support you with empathy and authenticity. My aim is to provide a space filled with genuine connection, where we can share laughter and have plenty of fun as we engage in the deep work needed for you to grow and change in the ways you truly desire.
As the founder of Therapy for Therapists, I hope this page helps you connect with the therapeutic support you need. If you feel we might be a good match, I’d love to start with a free consultation. If not, I encourage you to explore the profiles of my esteemed colleagues below who may better align with your needs.
My Specialties
- ADHD and Neurodiversity: As an ADHDer myself, I’m deeply attuned to the nuances of neurodiverse experiences. I specialize in ADHD testing, therapy, and coaching, focusing on understanding how your unique nervous system interacts with various life contexts (home, work, relationships). I work with clients to structure their lives and relationships for optimal thriving, educate those around them, and address challenges like rejection-sensitive dysphoria with compassion and practical strategies. If you are interested in my ADHD testing services, you can watch a video and read more on this webpage.
- Burnout and Compassion Fatigue: With a strong focus on burnout prevention and recovery, I support healthcare professionals in navigating and overcoming burnout and compassion fatigue. My approach includes a thorough assessment of burnout causes and personalized strategies for healing and sustainable change. I have worked with dozens of therapists in the throws of burnout, and have learned the importance of incoportating family, friends and employers in the therapuetic process to help change systemic pressures and facilitate healing/recovery from injuries like burnout and compassion fatigue.
- Group Therapy: As a certified group psychotherapist, I have extensive experience leading online process-oriented groups for therapists from around the world. These groups are designed to facilitate deep emotional exploration and corrective experiences. Engaging with fellow therapists in a group setting can provide powerful insights and support, helping participants navigate their challenges and growth together. Whether you’re looking to enhance your group therapy skills or develop a caring and supportive community, my groups offer a rewarding space full of real human connection and learning.
- Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Integration: Partnering with Journey Clinic, I offer guidance on psychedelic-assisted therapy, including integration work for those who have undergone medicinal treatments. This involves establishing a therapeutic relationship and consulting with your prescribing medical provider to ensure ethical and effective treatment.
Why Work with Me?
If you’ve been told something like, “You’re an amazing therapist, but you need to learn to be human,” then I might be a good fit. I specialize in working with therapists who are ready to peel back the layers of shame and self-criticism and rediscover their inner strengths. In both individual and group therapy, I focus on helping you build healthier relationships—with yourself, your clients, and the people you care about. My approach is all about creating a space where you can safely explore your deepest wants, confront the internalized critic, and practice showing up as the clinician (and person) you truly are, not just the one you think you’re supposed to be.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we’ll dive into the challenges that come with being both a healer and a human. I’ve worked extensively with therapists to tackle burnout, anxiety, trauma, and more. Expect to see a lot of here-and-now work as we explore how these dynamics show up in our sessions. My goal is to help you feel truly seen and heard, to connect with your emotions, and to reclaim your voice—whether it’s speaking up for yourself in personal relationships or setting boundaries with that particularly needy client.
Group Therapy: A Relational Process for Therapists
I’ve facilitated groups for therapists for years, and let me tell you, there’s something uniquely powerful about being in a room full of clinicians engaged in here-and-now processing work. My relational process groups are all about diving into the dynamics of our here-and-now interactions. We’ll explore themes around attachment, professional and personal relationships, money mindsets, and other challenges we face as therapists (and human beings). The goal isn’t just to reflect but to experience meaningful change right there in the group, practicing new ways of relating that you can carry back into your life outside of group. Think of it as a laboratory full of fellow therapists that deeply love you and are interested in your wellbeing and growth, and therefore we will actually call you on your “stuff” week after week.
Psychological Testing: Your ADHD Detective
I also have a deep love for psychological testing, particularly for ADHD and autism. Testing isn’t just a checklist; it’s an opportunity to play detective and unravel the complexities of your diagnostic picture. Is it ADHD, anxiety, or maybe something else entirely? We’ll figure it out together. I stay current on best practices through regular attendance at national ADHD conferences and ongoing consultation communities with other psychologist that do ADHD and autism evaluations. So if you’re a therapist who suspects you might be navigating ADHD or autism, I’m here with my metaphorical magnifying glass, ready to help.
My Approach: A Mix of Carl Rogers and Irvin Yalom
My therapy style is a blend of relationship-focused, humanistic, and existential approaches. Ideally I am a mix of Carl Rogers, Irvin Yalom, and Nate Page. I bring in elements from Psychodynamic Theory, IFS, ACT, and sometimes a bit of REBT (especially with deeply entrenched believes of low self worth). Above all, I attune to the here-and-now, focusing on the interpersonal dynamics that organically arise in our work. Whether we’re tackling self-worth, assertiveness, death anxiety, or just trying to figure out how to be okay with not being okay, we’ll do it with empathy, a touch of humor, and a whole lot of genuine connection.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in the therapy chair, you might find me running in the Minnesota snow, belting out Disney songs (ask me about my ADHD parody medley for the ADHD2024 conference in November), or navigating the ups and downs of parenting four young kiddos post-divorce. I’m all about living authentically, with plenty of space for the messiness of real life. And just like in therapy, I aim to create spaces—whether in conversation, in groups, or on stage—where people feel truly seen, heard, and maybe even a little entertained.

Jon Lewis, PhD, LP, ABPP, Certified Group Psychotherapist
Welcome! If you’re feeling stuck or unsure of how to move forward in life, you’re not alone. Many therapists face these challenges, often without realizing that a history of relational trauma may be at the root. I’m Jon Lewis, a board-certified psychologist (ABPP) and Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) based in South Minneapolis, Minnesota. I specialize in helping therapists navigate relational trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment issues, and the often harsh inner critic fueled by toxic shame. My work is deeply influenced by psychodynamic psychotherapy and attachment theory, complemented by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). If you’re grappling with your past or find your early relationships impacting your present, let’s explore how therapy can help you reclaim your life.
Who I Work With
I have a passion for working with therapists who feel held back by their childhood relational history, impacting their adult relationships and careers. I also provide ADHD testing as well complex personality assessments (called therapeutic assessments), and conduct therapy and psychological testing services virtually in 42 states, along with in-person sessions.
Do You…
- Struggle to let go of past trauma?
- Feel insecure or unsure of yourself?
- Battle with a constant inner critic?
- Often feel anxious, depressed, or isolated?
- Find yourself in repetitive, unsatisfying relationships?
- Struggle to connect with your feelings or be vulnerable with others?
If you answered “yes” to any of these, we might be a good fit. I can help you understand and process these challenges, explore your relational patterns, and work towards building healthier connections in your life.
Why Psychodynamic Therapy?
My approach focuses on exploring how early experiences shape who you are today—your self-concept, emotional regulation, and relationships. We’ll dive into the emotional landscapes that often go unspoken, helping you to recognize and shift repetitive patterns that hold you back. By using the therapeutic relationship as a safe space, you’ll have the opportunity to practice being open and vulnerable, skills that translate into more fulfilling relationships outside of therapy.
Specializing in Relational Trauma
Many who experience relational trauma are unaware of it until therapy brings it to light. This kind of trauma often stems from early experiences of emotional neglect, misattunement, or inconsistent caregiving, leading to a profound impact on self-worth and relationships in adulthood. If you’re dealing with emotional flashbacks, a relentless inner critic, or the weight of chronic shame and guilt, therapy can be a pathway to healing and self-discovery.
Exploring Group Therapy
Group therapy is another passion of mine and a powerful tool for growth. It’s a unique space where the interpersonal struggles you face outside of therapy naturally emerge within the group, providing an opportunity for real-time feedback and support. Whether it’s difficulty showing emotions, asserting yourself, or feeling connected to others, group therapy offers a supportive environment to experiment, learn, and build deeper, healthier relationships. If you’re curious, I’d love to discuss how group therapy might be a good fit for you.
The Power of Psychological Testing
If you’re stuck in therapy or struggling with complex questions about your mental health, psychological testing can be transformative. From diagnosing ADHD to unraveling the roots of self-sabotage or relationship issues, I offer comprehensive assessments that provide clarity and direction. These assessments can be invaluable not just for personal growth, but also in helping therapy move forward when progress feels stalled.

Emily Price, PsyD, LP
Life often doesn’t go as planned. You might find yourself feeling overwhelmed, doubting your path, or wondering if you’ll ever find the lasting love, fulfilling career, or sense of belonging you’ve been searching for. It’s tough when you feel like you’re juggling too much, fearing you’re either too much or not enough for others. Whether it’s navigating the complexities of relationships, managing career pressures, or adjusting to the whirlwind of parenthood, I’m here to help you find a way through.
Who I Work With
I specialize in working with therapists that are navigating life’s significant transitions—be it earning a degree, finding your people, or starting a family. This time of transitions often leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, loneliness, or disconnection. But it’s also a time ripe with opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery. My goal is to help you navigate these challenges, identify what truly matters to you, and build (or maybe rebuild) a fulfilling life that aligns with your values.
The Heart of Therapy: Our Relationship
In therapy, I prioritize the quality of our relationship because I believe that’s where the real work happens. Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood and genuinely supported in our sessions, which empowers them to meet their therapeutic goals and evolve beyond their expectations. I bring authenticity, honesty, and a warm, accepting approach to our work together, challenging you gently yet firmly to grow and shift toward healthier ways of relating—to yourself, to others, and to the world around you.
My Therapeutic Approach & Areas of Expertise
I believe that understanding the roots of your distress is essential for healing. In therapy, we’ll explore how your patterns developed in the context of your family, community, and societal influences. We’ll identify the ways these patterns might be holding you back from feeling worthwhile, forming meaningful relationships, or pursuing your values. Together, we’ll find ways to help you break free from those patterns that no longer serve you.
My expertise includes treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ADHD, infertility, perinatal mental health issues, trauma, and a wide range of other concerns. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP), blending psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral techniques to suit your unique needs and with sensitivity to your cultural identities.
Let’s Work Together
If you’re seeking relief and want to feel more satisfied with yourself, your relationships, and your future, let’s work together. Therapy with me is about more than just addressing symptoms; it’s about building a life that feels authentic, connected, and aligned with who you truly are. Connecting Through Compassion and Curiosity
Navigating the complexities of being a therapist can be challenging, especially when it comes to managing your own anxiety and emotional well-being. As a fellow mental health professional, you understand the importance of self-care and the need for a therapeutic space where you can fully explore your own experiences. My practice is dedicated to supporting therapists like you in overcoming anxiety, deepening self-understanding, and fostering personal transformation. I am dedicated to providing neurodiversity-affirming care and support for therapists across the United States.
Who I Work With
My ideal clients are therapists who are open-minded, curious about themselves, and motivated to engage deeply in the therapeutic process. If you are someone who is ready to connect with all aspects of your emotional experience—including the difficult and painful parts—we are likely to work well together. I appreciate clients who value a collaborative approach and who are looking for a therapist who is committed to providing consistent, compassionate care. One client even affectionately dubbed me an “empathy monster” because of my unwavering support and validation despite his best efforts to avoid compliments and other forms of emotional intimacy. My goal is to help you embrace the support of others while addressing the challenges you face.
